Hello ! I am Rina Maria.

Since childhood, I've always been the kid who loves art classes in school. I enjoyed all the drawing and coloring while most others had an aversion to art classes. It started growing on me and it became my most cherished hobby.

Fast forward to Instagram era, I started drawing more often during my college days and sharing my artworks on my private Instagram account. I shared my work on social media with no intention or apprehension. Now, I'm a software engineer by profession and an artist at heart! I kept this going for about 3 years and in mid-2019, my work colleagues suggested using a business account for sharing my work! At first, it was a little worrisome, since I'd have to share my paintings with the world and it was no longer limited to the xyz people who were connected to me via private account!

After couple of days, I decided to give it a go! And that's the beginning of Rina Maria Illustrations!

​

I had no idea about social media algorithms, how to interact with people, how to share my work in a better way. It took me 2.5 years to reach where I am today, in terms of my growth as an artist and the account.

I have witnessed my growth as an artist and my art style, and I will continue to evolve in this journey.
